Genesis 7

Students will look deeper into the details of Noah’s story. We’ll examine the often-overlooked particulars: How many animals actually entered the ark, and why the distinction between clean and unclean mattered. Why didn’t God just destroy the unclean animals altogether? And what does this reveal about His purpose and mercy? We’ll also revisit the story of Cain to clarify the nature of his punishment and clarify the Noahic covenant. These questions help us see that even in judgment, God preserves, protects, and points to something greater.
